we are staying in woody point July 6, is the water taxi the best and fastest way to get to do the sea kayaking in Bonne bay at Norris Point, how long does it take, we do have a car to drive.

    1. Hi Cathy, the water taxi would be the quickest way across the bay. It takes about 20 minutes to get across versus an hours drive around the bay, but the drive is worth it….some very beautiful scenery as you drive around the bay….hope this helps!!!

  3. Glad to find this info. I took a boat across in the 60s and what stays with me is the glorious 360 degrees of scenery which can be totally enjoyed from the boat. Can’t do that from a car. Also it is faster, and more ecological! Maybe I’ll do it again next year.

I’m planning a trip in June 2015. I’m in Norris Point at June 12th. Is there any change the watertaxi is running?

Water taxi helped us find a taxi to the table lands him. 5 km ride and 20$ per person return. We thought that was excessive price for a 15 minute ride, especially since the water taxi was 14$ return. Disappointing to be taken advantage of.

      1. Hi,
Thank you for your question. The first number quoted is one way cost and the second number is return cost.

Hope this helps!!! Have a great day!!!
